I assisted my good friend David Higginbotham with Adam and Holly’s wedding in Mooresville recently. The old brick church in Mooresville is a historic landmark and the entire little community may be the most scenic few acres in north Alabama. The reception was in Founder’s Hall on the campus of Athens State University and the entire day was excellent. A forecast storm even stayed away and we had great weather. Congratulations Adam and Holly.
Just after Christmas I assisted my friend David Higginbotham with a beautiful wedding in Decatur. Martin and Whitney married in a beautiful ceremony. This slide show is a selection of favorites from images I shot during the wedding.

Jacob and Audra were married Saturday at Journey Church in Eva. They were great, the ceremony was very beautiful and the wedding was a wonderful event. Thank you for allowing me to document your day guys. It was great. Enjoy the photos!

Keith and Melissa Johnson recently had me out to their farm in Morgan County, Alabama to shoot for them to update their web site. What a great time. The project was almost photojournalistic in nature. They wanted to document various aspects of life on the farm, their livestock and the farm itself. They have beautiful land in the Massey community and, as you will see, they have beautiful children as well. Hope you enjoy viewing as much as I enjoyed shooting.

The Way Home is a home school covering that my family belongs to and we have graduated two of our children through The Way Home. I recently had the privilege of photographing Abigail Ritch for her home school graduation program. Abigail is the daughter of Charlie and Laura Ritch. For her graduation ceremony, Abigail performed a variety of figure skating and ice dancing routines. The family needed photographs to put in the program and on display at the arena so we met one evening at the Point Mallard Ice Complex in Decatur and produced the images. This was about as unique a graduation ceremon as you will ever see and Abigail skated beautifully.
